Soon to rise in the parking lot north of the Peabody Museum is a laboratory building for molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, a second Yale collaboration between Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates and Payette Associates. Like their Anlyan Center, the building is what architect Robert Venturi calls a “decorated shed”—an essentially modern box with patterned windows and brick façade that add visual interest.
