In Kallmann, McKinnell & Wood’s plan for the Law School’s $90 million renovation, a dormitory wing was remade as offices, creating the need for a new entrance on Wall Street—and a new naming opportunity. The entrance to Ruttenberg Hall, named for an alumni donor, was clad in carved limestone and granite; it is scarcely distinguishable from the rest of the building.
