The Brain Bank

The meticulous and macabre collection of pioneering brain surgeon Harvey Cushing is now on permanent display at the Yale Medical School Library. The Cushing Center features medical records, sketches, medical supplies, patient photographs, and tissues—including the dozens of brains that line its shelves.
