Two years ago, President Richard Levin ’74PhD committed $500 million to an ambitious, long-range building program aimed at expanding Yale’s offerings in science and engineering. Lindbergh in New Haven

Charles Lindbergh flew solo across the Atlantic—and into history—in 1927. The “Lone Eagle” eventually gave his papers to the Manuscripts and Archives section of the Sterling Memorial Library, and from this resource, chief archivist and Lindbergh expert Judith Schiff and others have assembled quite a story.
